Gary Byerly Of Team ITI Places 4th in Tactical-Irons Division at 2010 Fort Benning 3-Gun Challenge
SHACKLESFORD, VA –-(Ammoland.com)- Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) pro shooter Gary Byerly captured fourth place in the Tactical-Irons Division at the 2010 Fort Benning 3-Gun Challenge, held at Fort Benning on December 2-5th, 2010.
Byerly competed in nine stages of fire against 21 divisional competitors, placing within the top five in six of the nine stages. Over 275 of the country’s finest 3-gun shooters came out to compete in the challenge.
“Having never shot a 3-gun match in the Tactical-Irons Division before, I decided to make the Fort Benning 3-Gun Challenge my first. Talk about learning what you don’t know…this year’s match was absolutely the most varied and balanced I have ever been to,” commented Byerly.
“Every skill set with each weapon was tested along with using the military hardware of grenade launchers and machine guns. I learned a lot at this match which will help me formulate a training plan to improve my standings. Thanks to all the staff for putting this on!”
