USA -(Ammoland.com)- Game & Fish Magazine packed their annual Gear Issue with tips, advice and strategies, as well as the latest hunting and fishing gear, all targeted to the area the reader lives in.
“The July-August 2016 issue does what many other publications cannot: Deliver state- and regionally-specific information about only those species and activities geographically relevant to the reader,” said Publisher Peter Gross. The magazine’s 28 monthly issues cover the USA, coast to coast.
For example, while readers in the West will see a section on Western quail and gear used to hunt them, Northern readers will get a grouse section. The Southern hunter has a story about their popular dove hunting and dove-hunting gear, while Midwestern readers will enjoy a pheasant-hunting and pheasant-gear section.
“In this way, we were able to supply our readers with what they want and expect — species and gear important to them in their state, and only the species and gear they are highly interested in,” said Gross.
In total, the magazine covered hundreds of new gear items used for 15 different hunting and fishing game species.
Also in the Gear Issue, Game & Fish revealed the winners of their latest Readers’ Choice Awards. More than 2,500 readers voted in 14 hunting-gear categories. Among the winners were Remington’s Model 700 Commemorative, Ruger American’s Rimfire and Mathews’ Halon 6 bow. See full voting results in the magazine or at http://gafmag.com/rca-2016-hunting
