A Carroll County, Georgia couple was recently awarded $175,000 because of stray bullets that have hit their home from Advanced Bullets Gun Range next door. Kenneth and Carol Caldwell have counted at least 27 bullet holes that have riddled their home over the last 10 years.
Apparently the couple confronted the owners of the range nice and polite about the dangers of living next door, but when they failed to make any changes, the couple slapped them with a lawsuit.
“I’m going to take some of the money, and we’re going to pay off this place,” Carol Caldwell said. “The rest of the money? We’re getting out of here.”
