The former National Rifle Association President Charlton Heston will soon be honored by being included as part of an upcoming stamp collection.
Heston, who served five terms as president of the NRA, will be included in an upcoming stamp series called “Legends of Hollywood.” The exact date of release is not known, but is projected to be some time this year, Daily Caller reports.
While the famous Second Amendment advocate is well known for his Hollywood roles in “Ben-Hur,” “Planet of the Apes,” “Touch of Evil,” and more, he is better known in the gun culture for his memorable words “from my cold, dead hands,” which he delivered during a fateful speech he delivered at a NRA meeting in 2000.
