McLean, Va. – -(AmmoLand.com)- Once again, FNH USA and Leupold have teamed up to sponsor the FNH USA ? Leupold Long Range Precision Shooting Competition, June 1-5, 2009 in Fort George G. Meade, Md.  This competition showcases the finest shooters from the U.S. military and law enforcement agencies.

The competition is hosted by Baltimore and Washington metro area local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

As well as being a training exercise, it affords rival teams engaged in high power rifle shooting to compete against one another. In 2008, the event was won by the law enforcement team of Jim Sharkey and Kenny Schiattarella of the Ocean County, New Jersey SWAT team with an impressive score of 155 points.

All proceeds from the registrations for the thirty participating teams will benefit Special Forces Association, National Tactical Officer’s Association, and the Redwing 19 Special Warfare Family Fund.
