FN Herstal supports the arts. The Belgium company recently bought a wooden replica of the FN SCAR carbine from a UK artist to exhibit during its 125 year anniversary, The Firearm Blog reports.
Jenni Edwards owns an Etsy store called “SplinterSell,” where she displays wooden replicas of firearms and markets them outside of the UK, due to laws restricting the sale of replica guns. She’s crafted several such as the Heckler & Koch MP5, a Colt 1911 and a 9mm Luger pistol, just to name a few.
The attention to detail is impressive, and all the controls look to work with full mobility. These replicas are laser cut and hand assembled, according to the Esty page. Prices range from $163 to $837.
