After years of promise and waiting, Microsoft has released the first official trailer of “Halo: Nightfall.”
The video, which was first shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2014, provides a glimpse into the soon-to-be live-action series and centers around a semi-functional lost fragment of the Halo ring from the original “Halo,” The Verge reports.
“Halo: Nightfall” will be set on a colonial world and will include the character Jameson Locke, who is also to be featured in the upcoming Xbox title “Halo 5: Guardians.”
“With ‘Halo: Nightfall,’ we’re pioneering a new medium in terms of interactive storytelling on Xbox,” says executive producer Ridley Scott.
