USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- The annual convention of Safari Club International is unequaled in every respect. It is the world’s most important gathering of hunters, a showcase for the finest taxidermy, art and firearms one can imagine, and the paramount marketplace for professional hunters and outfitters from all points of the globe.
Overflowing the Reno/Sparks Convention Center from February 5-8th, the SCI Convention is so grand in scale that some of the more interesting and valuable activities can easily be overlooked. More specifically, a host of complimentary seminars conducted by recognized authorities on hunting, shooting, wildlife conservation and international travel are scheduled during show hours. One of the most important is being presented for the first time and focuses on proper estate planning as it relates to firearms and sporting collectibles.
Hosted by Dwight Van Brunt, President of Sportsman’s Legacy and Jeremy Hatch, Firearms Consultant for Morphy Auctions, this one-hour seminar will outline the steps necessary to ensure that both direct disposition and orderly monetization are handled in accordance with your wishes. Unlike many asset categories, the unique nature of firearms and hunting-related items makes accurate valuation difficult, legal requirements confusing and logistics nearly impossible to understand. Attendees will discover how to prepare a plan that unburdens family and friends while at the same time boosts the historical and monetary value of every item.
This seminar will be presented twice; Thursday, February 6th beginning at 1 p.m. and Saturday, February 8th beginning at 10 a.m. All convention attendees are invited and no advance registration is not required.
