On-box royalty partnership continues in Pheasants Forever’s 30th anniversary year.
Saint Paul, Minn. –-(Ammoland.com)- Pheasants Forever and its longtime conservation partner Federal Premium Ammunition are proud to announce more than 30 million shotgun shells, which come in specially marked boxes, have been produced in support of the national wildlife habitat conservation organization.
The conservation milestone was reached just days before this August 5, Pheasants Forever’s 30th anniversary date.
Pheasants Forever and Federal Premium’s conservation relationship dates back to the mid-1980s. The on-box royalty partnership began in 1998 with Federal Premium’s Pheasants Forever-labeled Wing-Shok® shotshell boxes, evolved in 2010 with the revolutionary Prairie Storm
specialty pheasant load and continued last year with the introduction of Prairie Storm FS Steel®. A portion of the proceeds from each Pheasants Forever logoed box sold goes directly to the conservation group’s wildlife habitat efforts, which help pheasant populations and pheasant hunters. In the first 10 years of the on-box royalty program, Federal produced 15 million pheasant loads.
In less than four years since that milestone, Federal produced 15 million more of the specialty shells.

Pheasants Forever will officially celebrate its 30th anniversary joined by Federal Premium, conservation partners, chapters and members February 15, 16 and 17, 2013, at its National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic, to be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
