Federal introduces new Upland Steel loads for 12 and 20-gauge upland game hunters in need of non-lead ammunition.
Bringing steel payloads to hunters in areas that require the use of non-lead shot, the Upland Steel loads offer high velocities and reliable performance, according to Federal. The shot’s design delivers patterns upland hunters can use to nail hard-to-hit birds, like doves.
“This is an ultra-reliable, cost-effective, high-performance steel load offered in the smaller shot sizes that high-volume upland hunters are looking for,” Federal Shotshell Product Director Rick Stoeckel said in a news release. “For example, it’s definitely a great option for those who are required to shoot steel when hunting dove.”
Federal says the Upland Steel ammo is now shipping in 25-count boxes starting at $8.95.
