FBI offers $5K for info leading to getting stolen vest, gear back

Early Tuesday morning a vehicle used by a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent was rummaged through in the Dallas area and a ballistic vest and other gear was taken.

The agent’s vehicle was parked in a hotel parking lot at 4011 South Loop 289 in Lubbock and, according to a statement by the Bureau, tools, a ballistic vest and other non-specified items were taken.

The agency cautions that no credentials or weapons were taken and is asking anyone with information to contact the Dallas FBI at (972) 559-5000. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for the recovery of the items.
