The Falcon 9 Reusable rocket just took its second test flight in Texas and reached a height of 1,000 meters before safely landing itself back on the ground.
While this was only the second test flight for the Flacon 9, the maximum height achieved was four times that of last time.
This iteration of the Falcon 9 has fixed legs, but engineers plan to build future models with retractable legs.
Once the site is moved to New Mexico, the Falcon 9 will be permitted to fly to even higher altitudes.
