The Eagles of Death Metal returned to Paris to perform a special concert for the survivors of the terrorist attack during a concert three months ago.
Last week’s show started out with a little piece by Jacques Dutronc known as “Il est cinq heures, Paris s’éveille,” which essentially means “Wake up, Paris.”
Jesse Hughes, lead singer of the California-based rock band, told the audience that they were there to finish the concert that was interrupted by gunshots and followed by death. During the show, the band had a moment of silence to pay homage to the 89 victims who were killed that day.
