DALLAS-(Ammoland.com)- DSC welcomes the latest group to join its chapter affiliate program – DSC Permian Basin. The recent addition marks the fifth chapter to join DSC in their vision of a society that values wildlife, engages in its conservation, and understands and supports the role of well-regulated hunting in the sustainable use of wild resources.

“We are proud to welcome DSC Permian Basin to the DSC family,” said DSC Chapter Development Coordinator Kim Rappleye. “This new addition is another sign of our continued growth and the rising interest of individuals who wish to dedicate their valuable time and resources to help achieve DSC’s mission.”

DSC Permian Basin offers sportsmen and women an avenue to come together in a variety of events, such as social outings, fundraising shoots and youth educational days. The chapter will be introduced to the surrounding area’s DSC members during their first official meeting on Dec. 1 with regular chapter activities set to begin early next year.

“We wanted to bring people in the area together to be more proactive in the DSC mission,” said DSC Permian Basin President Scott Dinger. “The Midland/Odessa area has more than 100 DSC members and this new chapter is an opportunity to become more involved in our communities and help spread DSC’s message.”

DSC Permian Basin joins DSC Northeast, Lubbock Sportsman’s Club, DSC Austin and DSC South Texas in a network of ardent hunters-conservationists. The new chapter helps connect individuals without geographic ties together to achieve the club’s mission. Along with this recent addition, DSC is expecting more chapters to join soon. DSC has more than 6,000 members worldwide.
