New York, NY –-(Ammoland.com)- Q: Who was your hunting/fishing mentor?
A: “My dad was my first true hunting and fishing mentor. I grew up in a family where hunting was a lifestyle, not a hobby. Almost all of my childhood memories of time spent with Dad involve hunting or fishing, and I am very thankful to him for introducing me to the outdoor arts.”

Q: How did you get started in the hunting /fishing industry?
A: “In 1997 I decided to change careers, so I went back to school. While I was in college my wife told me that I had to do something to support my “duck hunting habit,” so I started training retrievers and guiding duck hunters as a side job.”

Q: Tell us your favorite hunting/fishing joke.
A: “When the geese are flying in a V formation, do you know why one side is longer than the other??? Because it has more geese in it!”

Q: How do you like to spend your time when you are not hunting/fishing?
A: “Cooking has become a huge hobby, and I also spend as much time playing with my three daughters as possible.”

Q: What are people always surprised to find out about you?
A: “That I used to be a registered nurse.”

Q: What’s your biggest accomplishment/ what are you most proud of?
A: “In 2004 I won the gold medal in the ESPN Great Outdoor Games retriever trial.”
