Hamburg, PA –-(Ammoland.com)- This week on “Doug Koenig’s Championship Season,” Doug travels to the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas for the Sportsman’s Team Challenge.

This fun, three gun event, attracts many of the top shooters in the world. In this episode, another shooter named Koenig enters the competition.

It is none other than Doug’s young son Trevor. And this Koenig believes in keeping the winning tradition intact. Later in the show, Doug travels to New Zealand’s south island for a “stag” hunt in a setting of unbelievable beauty. Check out Doug’s skills with a pistol, rifle and shotgun – and then watch him hunt in a land of challenging terrain.

What is Doug Koenig’s Championship Season (DKCS)?
DKCS follows the path that Doug Koenig travels during his shooting and hunting year. Doug is regarded as the “World’s Best All-Around Shooter” and his record as a competitive shooter is unmatched. Doug takes those shooting skills and competes at national and world class events.

Doug also takes those same “championship” skills and applies them to his hunting adventures – with the “precision” approach. Doug is an avid hunter, and on DKCS, Doug hunts in some of the most exotic places on the planet – and in some places that are not as exotic. From a “stag” hunt in New Zealand to a whitetail adventure in Illinois, Doug will keep it exciting as he takes the viewers into the wild with him.

DKCS will also feature tips from Doug in the areas of shooting and hunting. Proper shooting techniques, hunting preparation tips, and “hasty” shooting positions are just a few of the many lessons that will be talked about by the show host – Doug Koenig.
