Residents of Pope Valley, California, who were evacuated this week due to wildfires left a clear message for anyone that may be thinking of stealing their stuff while they are gone. A hand painted sign at the border of Pope Valley and Middletown read, “Attn scum you loot we shoot.” At least two suspects were previously arrested after authorities found them in possession of two burned safes.
