Raleigh, NC -(Ammoland.com)- Grass Roots North Carolina also wants to thank the Person County Board of Commissioners who voted on November 16, to repeal a 1995 ordinance that banned CHP holders from carrying a gun on county property.

This vote will allow citizens and employees with concealed handgun permits to bring their guns on county-owned property. Final passage of this repeal is subject to a required second vote, which will take place on December 7th at the Person County Board of Commissioners meeting and if it passes county owned properties will no longer be gun-free zones.

Kudos and congratulations also go out to the board members who voted for this change and by doing so, did their part to help citizens and employees protect themselves and their families. Doing the right thing isn’t always the easy thing, but they did it, and the commission ought to be recognized for it.

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!
