California – -(Ammoland.com)- There will be a public hearing this Friday, November 18th in the Board of Supervisor’s Chambers at 10:00 a.m.Santa Cruz to consider the Los Altos Rod & Gun Club‘s proposal to add a new 1-story 3,200 sq ft clubhouse.

This is nothing more than ANOTHER attempt to use zoning regs to shut down the Los Altos Rod & Gun Club.

All interested persons are invited to provide comments to the Zoning Administrator either at the hearing or in writing.

If you decide to write a letter, deliver it to the GS2AC Meeting on Thursday, November 17th at Harry’s Hoffbrau. We will have people who will deliver the letters in person to the board.

If you can personally attend this meeting, please show up in business attire – no camouflage or BDUs, please.

For local people who plan to mail a letter, be sure it is in the local mail by tomorrow morning or it may not be delivered in time.

There have been overtures made by the Mid Peninsula Regional Open Space District to object due to noise, litter, tree damage and lead pollution.

This is the same Mid Peninsula Regional Open Space District that advises everyone to protect themselves from attacking mountain lions by hitting them with their hats.

About the GS2AC
The Golden State Second Amendment Council is an independent firearms rights organization dedicated to the advancement of the right to keep and bear arms in California. Formerly organized as the NRA Members’ Council of Silicon Valley, we have reformed ourselves as an affiliation of Second Amendment activists in order to do those things a Member’s Council generally can not. In summary, there is a void to be filled in the firearms rights community and we seek to fill it.
Our core concern is that the Second Amendment community must go on the offensive if we are to retain our right to bear arms in this state. Visit: www.gs2ac.com
