Ankeny, IA – -(AmmoLand.com)- The National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW), the association representing shooting sports wholesalers, manufacturers, and their trade partners, is only accepting submissions for the 2019 NASGW-POMA Caliber Awards through August 1st.
The 3rd Annual NASGW-POMA Caliber Awards will honor the highest caliber new products in six product categories, including the best new rifle, handgun, shotgun, ammunition, optic, and best new accessory.
An overall best new product will also be chosen from the finalists of all six categories. The Caliber Awards are voted on by an independent panel of 18 industry professionals, encompassing hundreds of years of experience in the Shooting Sports Industry. The panel includes wholesalers and media members who stay on top of product trends and innovations year in and year out.
“Each year we have seen more submissions for the NASGW-POMA Caliber Awards,” said Kenyon Gleason, NASGW President. “Our deadline for companies to submit their new products is coming up on August 1st, and we encourage all of our NASGW Manufacturing Members to get their products entered for a chance to be recognized as the most innovative in their respective category.”
Winners of the 2019 Caliber Awards will be announced at the Annual Appreciation Dinner at this year’s NASGW Expo in Orlando, FL. To qualify for the Caliber Awards, a manufacturer must meet the following criteria:
Caliber Award Criteria
- Manufacturers must be a NASGW member in good standing.
- The product needs to be submitted through the NASGW Expo New Product Showcase available on the Expo website.
- The product must have been publicly released between the end of last year’s NASGW Expo and the beginning of this year’s Expo.
