Smyrna, Ga. (Ammoland.com) – GASTON J. GLOCK style LP, a sponsor of the Sevigny Performance Team, is pleased to announce that Dave and Brooke Sevigny took home Standard Division wins at the 2014 US IPSC Nationals, held October 21st – 26th at the Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, Florida.

In the Standard division, Dave won 15 of 30 courses of fire outright, finishing the tournament with a decisive 116 point victory over the runner-up.  The IPSC Nationals featured the same 2505 point course of fire as the 2014 IPSC World Shoot XVII held October 13th – 18th, 2014 at the Universal Shooting Academy.

At the WSXVII, only 30 points separated first through third with less than one-half point determining second and third place, making it one of the closest matches in World Shoot history. Dave finished with the individual Bronze medal and added a team Gold medal for a USA team sweep of the Standard Division podium. Level V IPSC World events occur once every three years. The next World Shoot will be held in 2017 in France.

Brooke Sevigny won her first Ladies IPSC National championship in the Standard Division with an 11th place overall finish. At her first World Shoot, Brooke was a member of the USA Ladies Standard team where the team earned a Gold medal.

“At the IPSC Nationals I was happy to take home my first championship among the Ladies, but more so to finish 11th overall in the Standard Division. I will keep working to improve in the off-season,” Brooke commented.

“Competing in two back-to-back IPSC majors will be something to remember. It was a rare chance to shoot 60 total stages with top competitors everywhere on the range,” remarked Dave.

The Pro-Am Southeast Regional is next on the schedule for match sponsor GASTON J. GLOCK style LP and for the Sevigny Performance Team. The event will be held November 7th – 9th at the South River Gun Club in Covington, GA. Pro-Am Shooting is a fast paced handgun tournament made entirely of steel targets which fall when hit. Details for the event are available here at www.proamse.com.

“We are proud of Dave and Brooke’s top finishes in October. 2014 was another successful season where the team won several major championships. We now look forward to the exciting Pro-Am Southeast Regional in our home territory,” said Beate Arnold, CEO of GASTON J. GLOCK style LP.

As a sponsor of WSXVII, GASTON J. GLOCK style LP was able to display products, including their bestselling Extreme Performance Shooting Shirt.
