A man who was wanted in connection with multiple robberies was shot and killed by police officers in Price Hill, Ohio, Monday, and now dash cam footage shows him ignoring numerous commands before reaching for a gun.
The gun, which was used in the robberies, was later determined to be a BB gun, but nonetheless, Mayor John Cranley defended the actions of his officers.
“If you point a gun at a cop, we’re going to shoot,” Cranley said.
The suspect was identified as 45-year-old Robert Tenbrink. He was responsible for at least two robberies that occurred the same day he was shot.
As is standard protocol, the two officers involved in the shooting, Andrea Harmon and Kevin Manz, have ben placed on administrative leave while the investigation is underway.
