Northland Ford truck raffle continues to help PF chapters fund local conservation projects.
Darwin, Minn. –-(Ammoland.com)- Jennie Welker of Darwin, Minnesota, is the lucky winner of a brand new 2012 Ford F-150 SuperCab XLT from Northland Ford via a Pheasants Forever (PF) raffle.
The Northland Ford Dealer Group, made up of approximately 250 Ford dealers in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, donated a 2012 Ford F-150 SuperCab 4×4 XLT to be raffled off by Pheasants Forever.
Tickets for the raffle were available through local Pheasants Forever chapters in the Northland Ford region in 2011-2012, and all proceeds raised were kept by each chapter for use in their local wildlife conservation efforts.
Welker and her fiancé, Ray Zimmermann, are long-time members of McLeod County PF chapter and are also very involved with chapter events. Welker bought the ticket at the chapter’s banquet in March. After finding out about her new vehicle, Welker bought Zimmermann a PF Life Membership in an effort to further support PF’s mission.
“This has been an exciting experience, I’m absolutely thrilled,” says Welker, “We are planning a hunting trip in Montana over Labor Day and will be taking the new vehicle.”
Pheasants Forever and Northland Ford raffles in the past decade have helped “The Habitat Organization” raise more than half a million dollars for Pheasants Forever – with all proceeds retained by respective Pheasants Forever chapters for use in their local conservation projects.
