Daniel Defense unveiled a new shorty rifle at SHOT Show in Las Vegas Jan. 21 through Jan. 24, showcasing the DDM4 PDW.
The DDM4 PDW comes chambered in .300 Blackout sporting a 7-inch cold hammer-forged barrel. With an overall length ranging between 21- and 25.5-inches, depending on stock position, the DDM4 PDW weighs in at 5.7-pounds. Equipped with a Maxim Defense CQB Gen 7 stock and 6-inch MFR XL flat front rail, the rifle is said to offer fast handling and easy maneuvering.
Designed for convenient transport, Daniel Defense also says the PDW can easily slip into a backpack or car storage setup.
“This is an awesome little .300 Blackout. Put it in a saddlebag of a motorcycle, concealed carry bag every day, or under the seat of your truck,” a Daniel Defense rep told Guns.com at SHOT Show.
The DDM4 PDW does qualify as a short-barreled rifle and therefore falls under the National Firearms Act regulations. MSRP hovers around $1,900.
