Chambered in a choice of 9mm, 10mm, and .45ACP, the new Wraith 1911 from Dan Wesson features a distressed finish and is ready for some quiet time.
Announced on Monday, the new longslide from the New York-based CZ subsidiary has high night sights as well as a threaded 5.75-inch barrel, making it ready to accommodate a suppressor right out of the box. Using a heavy-duty, forged stainless steel frame and slide, the pistol totes a more “broken-in” look on DW’s standard duty finish along with black surface controls.
Overall length is 9.5-inches, with a roomy sight radius, while weight is 42.3-ounces. Other features include a manual thumb safety for those who like to carry cocked-and-locked, 25 LPI checkering on the grip, and G10 grip panels.
The Wraith’s ejection port is lowered and flared while forward slide serrations and a beveled magwell come standard. Magazine capacity is 8+1 rounds on the .45ACP model, 9+1 on the 10mm, and 10+1 on the 9mm model.
While MSRP is set at $2,077 on this new DW, the Guns.com price is — well– under that.
