United States -(AmmoLand.com)- The 2016 Daisy Nationals crowned a new BB gun championship team on July 4, and it was the Pierre Junior Shooters of Pierre, SD, that took home the gold.

For the other 58 teams that attended the 51st annual event, though, it was a huge victory just to qualify.

To celebrate their accomplishment, outdoor writer Guy J. Sagi’s Fear and Loading YouTube channel has posted a video that includes all of the teams and children as they walked out in the Parade of Champions that kicks off the prestigious event annually.

“The friends and family who were unable to attend can get a glimpse of the grand spectacle so richly deserved by each of the competitors,” Sagi said. “I’ve included all of the young shooters and it’s also a great chance for them to relive that moment on the podium as they were introduced, flashes went off and the crowd gave each a huge round of applause. A few teams wound up on top in scores, but they’re all winners.”

The annual event attracts youth marksmen from across the nation to Rogers, AR, home of Daisy Outdoors. This year the Pierre Junior Shooters claimed Gold, with the Wyandotte County 4-H Shooting Sports team (Kansas City, KS) took silver and Spink County Shooting Sports (Redfield, SD) captured bronze medals.
