Precision Machined Delrin Tool Ensures Solvent Resistant Non-Mar Firearm Assembly
Wrightwood, CA -(Ammoland.com)- The Inventors ARK LLC launched its first crowd-designed crowdfunded project.
In a protected environment the initial crowd of designers and engineers rapidly incorporated design improvements developing the prototype tool into a manufacturable product. In its fourth iteration social media promotion yielded additional design inputs resulting in the tool designed for the Kickstarter campaign.
“With the success of the Pin Guide project sportsmen and gunsmiths will have another tool in their arsenal to protect and maintain their firearms.”
The process on invention is typically a linear process that requires seclusion and capital before an idea can become a viable consumer product. Breaking down barriers that stall design is critical to expediting the process of invention.
The Inventors ARK has developed a process that brings experts and innovators together in an environment that pushes ideas out of sketchbooks and into the market. This process continues to be refined as The Inventors ARK launches its internal projects and builds its marketing base before bringing on outside projects.
On the products advantages of the tool the creator stated, “Machined Delrin provides precise dowel pin insertion for use with a small hammer or arbor press. The solvent friendly material is particularly suited for post cleaning reassembly of pin assembled firearms like AR-15’s.”
