Crimson Trace launched five new Laserguard laser sights designed to work alongside Walther, Smith & Wesson and Springfield Armory handguns.
The company announced new models designed to fit Walther’s PPS M2, Smith & Wesson’s M&P 45 Shield and Springfield’s XD Mod.2 with all models offering either a red or green laser option.
The laser sights utilize Crimson Trace’s Instinctive Activation operation, which features a small pad located under the trigger for easy engagement. The laser series allow users to adjust for windage and elevation once installed. However, the devices ship from the factory ready to be used with targets 50 yards away.
The first Laserguard made its debut in 2007 and was created to work with the Ruger LCP pistol. Since then, Crimson Trace has expanded the series to include more than three dozen models engineered to fit onto the trigger guards of compact and sub-compact polymer framed handguns.
The latest models are currently shipping to dealers. Consumers can expect to see the Laserguard red laser sight retailing for $229 while the green laser option breaks the $300 mark.
