Montgomery County Police are taking aim at those on their mobile devices by setting up a lookout officer, disguised as a homeless man, at an area intersection.

Use a cell phone without hands-free device at the stop in Bethesda, Maryland, and the lookout alerts hiding uniformed officers who step out and issue a citation.

In one day, as reported by Fox5, officers issued a total of 56 tickets, including 31 tickets and 9 warnings to people busted using their phones without hands-free devices.

Montgomery isn’t the first agency to work this sting. As the below video shows, at least one California town started doing the same thing in August.
