Concealed Carry on Campuses – This Week on Gun Talk
MANDEVILLE, LA –-(Ammoland.com)- Tom talks with a student group for concealed carry on college campuses, and training with Tiger, this week on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk, the nationally-syndicated radio show about firearms, the shooting sports and more.
Students for Concealed Carry on Campus is a national, non-partisan, organization comprised of college students, professors, college employees, parents of college students, and concerned citizens.
Kurt Mueller, Eastern Regional Director for SCCC, visits with Tom to discuss the group’s two main functions: To dispel the common myths and misconceptions about concealed carry on college campuses, and to push state legislators and school administrators to grant concealed handgun license holders the same rights on college campuses that those licensees currently enjoy in most other unsecured locations.
More info about SCCC can be found at www.concealedcampus.com.
Shootrite Academy in Langston, AL – founded by instructor, author and innovator Tiger McKee – offers many options for training. From a small class of eight, to a private class of a few, or even one-on-one instruction, Shootrite has it all. Courses range from handgun to carbine, low-light to vehicle defense, and everything in between.
McKee visits Gun Talk Sunday to talk about Shootrite Academy, and training in general. More info can be found at www.shootrite.org.
