Comedian Katt Williams pulled a gun on a heckler during a show in Los Angeles July 1, inciting a massive police response.
Williams was at the West Hollywood’s Comedy Store when one heckler just wouldn’t quit. Williams, who wasn’t on stage at the time, pulled a gun and threatened the heckler, TMZ reports.
Six patrol cars responded to the scene and deputies surrounded the building. They deployed their shotguns and even had a helicopter circling above.
But by the time deputies arrived, Williams had already left the building.
Williams later said he never pulled a gun because he didn’t have one. He claimed four gang members followed him to his car and began assaulting him.
