WEST HARTFORD, Conn. –-(Ammoland.com)- Colt Defense LLC, one of the world’s leading designers, developers, and manufacturers of rifles and carbines, is proud to be a sponsor of the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF).
This year, the Colt Defense leadership team attended the MC-LEF fundraising gala in New York City and donated $17,000 to the organization.

Funds raised by MC-LEF are used to support the education of the children of Marines or Federal law enforcement personnel who were killed on duty or died under extraordinary circumstances while serving the United States at home or abroad. Most of the support comes in the form of scholarships for higher education. The Foundation will also provide the children’s families with funds for special medical equipment or tutoring if the child has a physical or mental disability.
MC-LEF donates 97 percent of its funds directly to the children of fallen military and Federal law enforcement personnel. Since its inception in 1995, the organization has distributed more than $57,000,000 of aid to eligible children.
