Austin Lee Russell, better known as “Chumlee” from the “Pawn Stars” television show, plead guilty Monday to a felony weapons charge and a misdemeanor drug charge.
Originally arrested in March, the 33-year-old reality TV star was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on 19 charges related to drug violations as well as a single charge of possessing a gun by a prohibited person after a raid on his home by Las Vegas Metro Police.
The raid produced 11 firearms, a gallon bag of marijuana and other drugs while serving a warrant for a sexual assault. That investigation was later dropped for lack of evidence.
Under the terms of the agreement entered into in front of Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joe Sciscento Monday, Russell will forfeit the items seized in March, seek counseling and serve three years probation. Failure to keep his nose clean could earn him 2-5 years in a Nevada correctional institute.
