Chris Cheng goes for speed with the Can Cannon (VIDEO)

With a traditional AR-15 platform you can get off six aimed shots in the time it took to read this– but how long would it take to do that with an upper set up to shoot pop cans?

Top Shot Chris Cheng decided to try it out with a Can Cannon attached to his Salient Arms International charging handle and TiN bolt carrier group, mated to a Houlding Precision lower. Now the pop-can firing launcher uses standard 5.56mm blanks to launch the 12 ounce missiles, meaning Cheng has to manually cycle the bolt group after each shot, then cram a new can in the muzzle and get back on target.

With that in mind, how long would you guess it takes to get to the six shot mark on the canzooka?
