The anti-gun politicians are coming out of the woodwork in Cheyenne.
Wyoming –-(Ammoland.com)- Anti-gun NY Mayor Bloomberg and Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen. Two peas in a pod!
Of course we knew this would happen — because nothing puts the gun-control crowd into a gun grabbing frenzy more — than legislation that protects the God-given right to self defense.
Remember HB-103 passed the house by a wide margin of 53 to 6.
And now Cheyenne’s anti-gun mayor has come out in full opposition of HB-103, a bill that puts teeth into the current-law known as state preemption.
Cheyenne mayor Rick Kaysen has long been a secret proponent of gun control, but now he’s come out of the closet for all to see!
Kaysen said, that he “doesn’t support a proposal in the state legislature to ban local governments in the state from passing their own laws on firearms”.
You see, Kaysen wrongly believes that local officials can tell you when and where you can exercise your right to keep and bear arms.
Kaysen is part of the political ruling class that believes the oath he took to protect and defend the Constitution is merely a symbolic gesture.
But the truth is, Article 1 section 24 of the Wyoming Constitution doesn’t come with a list of places where your rights no longer apply.
Simply put the WY Constitution says, “The right to keep and bear arms…shall not be denied”.
Opposition of HB-103 reveals what mayor Kaysen really believes — that the bloodbaths that occur in gun-free zones are perfectly acceptable.
But you and I know the real truth –– that victim-disarmament zones –– are where the bloodthirsty killers go to unleash their rampage on unarmed victims.
In my opinion, politicians like Kaysen that are so naive to believe that criminals follow gun-control laws — are not fit to be in office in Wyoming, not even as a dog catcher.
Contact the Senate Judiciary Committee ASAP and tell them not to follow the anti-gun lead of Cheyenne mayor Rick Kaysen.
