NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- A Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) lawsuit brought against the U.S. Forest Service in federal court in Arizona has been dismissed.

The suit alleged that  U.S. Forest Service had violated the federal Resource and Conservation Recovery Act by not banning hunters from using traditional ammunition when hunting on some federal land in that state.

National Shooting Sports Foundation had moved to intervene in the case.

That motion was declared moot due to the dismissal.
