Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)- The NRA is holding its Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Louisville, Kentucky May 20-22 and cartoonist for the city’s best known newspaper–The Courier Journal–is welcoming the gun rights group with a cartoon of a child being crucified.
The Journal’s cartoonist–Marc Murphy–tweeted a photo of the cartoon on Sunday night and and captioned it with, “Welcome to Louisvlle, NRA. Enjoy your stay. @CourierJournal.”

The cartoon features a child hanging on a cross. The cross is scarred with what appear to be bullet holes.
Newsbusters.org reports that the cartoon was slated to run in the Monday edition of the Journal.
