A burglar in the UK made catching him easy when he stole a Porsche Boxster, only to wreck it and become trapped in the wreckage.
Jamie Lee Sharp, 25, and his accomplice, James Honeywell, 26, burglarized a Gloucester home and grabbed the keys to the sports car in the process, then Sharp took cell phone footage as he and Honeywell took the Porsche for a joyride.
But the ride came to a screeching halt when Sharp, who was under the influence of alcohol, crashed into a wall. At that point, Honeywell bailed on his friend and fled from the scene, leaving Sharp trapped in the car.
Sharp was subsequently arrested and is now serving a four-year jail term for burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, driving while disqualified, drink-driving and driving without insurance.
Honeywell was sentenced to 35 months this week after he admitted the part he played in the fiasco.
