Business owner requires employees get CCW, but gives them a free Judge (VIDEO)

Work at one of the three offices at Lance Toland Associates? You have to get a concealed carry permit, but Toland will cough up a free Taurus Judge in exchange.

“Everybody has one of these in their drawer or on their person. I would not want to come into one of my facilities,” Toland told WSBTV. “It’s a 5 shot .410, just like a shotgun and you call it hand cannon.”

Toland was reportedly concerned by reports of increased home invasions in the Atlanta metro area and made the decision to mandate the permits of his employees. Permits cost about $75 on average in Georgia while a Judge runs about $479 retail.

“They all had their conceal carry permit within 3 to 4 weeks of me announcing that this was something you had to do,” he said. “With the presentation of their license, they all got a .410 Judge pistol.”

Of course, The Peach Tree State is home to Glock which has a similar MSRP to the Brazilian-made revolver, but hey, a free gun is like free beer: it’s always good.
