Brownells 4th Annual Gunsmith Career Fair A Success
Des Moines, Iowa – -(AmmoLand.com)- The recent Brownells Gunsmith Career Fair was a target rich environment for firearms industry employers looking for trained gunsmiths.
Over 150 gunsmithing school students and experienced gunsmiths brought resumes, portfolios, and enthusiasm backed up by solid bench experience. All gathered at the Downtown Marriott Hotel in Des Moines, Iowa.

The varied seminars were well received. Brownells’ Dave Bennetts and Trinidad State Junior College’s “Speedy” Gonzales teamed up to give the attendees a hard look at the reality of running a business in their seminar, Time = Money. The ATF covered many of the fine points about the law for dealers, Ron Power taught some tricks on Ruger single action revolvers and 10/22 rifles, and Pete Brownell talked about identifying your strengths.
