Two students at a Washington state high school are dead and an unknown number are wounded after one of them opened fire Friday morning.
The shooting happened in a town north of Seattle at Marysville Pilchuck High School. Officers responded to the scene around 10:40 am local time, said the Marysville Police Department.
CNN reported that the gunman was Jaylen Fryberg, a freshman at the school. Witnesses said that Fryberg walked up to a table inside the cafeteria and fired half a dozen shots, shooting at potential victims indiscriminately.
None of the victims have been identified as police are still gathering details and clearing the school.
