Missoula, MT -(AmmoLand.com)- General booth sales are now open for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s 2016 Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Exposition.

The expo is scheduled to take place December 1-10 in the South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).

“We had a great expo with a lot of positive exhibitor feedback last December,” said Steve Decker, RMEF vice president of Marketing. “We also learned quite a bit from our first run at a 10-day show so we plan to implement changes to make the 2016 expo bigger and better. Among other things, we will improve signage to further integrate our expo with the Cowboy Christmas expo in the same halls, reposition and add new content including the Junior NFR (National Finals Rodeo) to the Wrangler Rodeo Arena and add a popup 3-D archery range for additional content.”

Co-located in the LVCC South Halls with the popular Cowboy Christmas, nearly 87,000 people attended the 2015 expo. The combined event covered nearly 900,000 square feet or roughly the size of 15 and a half football fields.

Outdoor industry leaders, and other exhibitors, will feature firearms, optics, outfitter and guide services, hunting apparel and western lifestyle gear and clothing. Among exhibitors already signed up are Browning/Winchester Repeating Arms, Cabela’s, Chevy Trucks, Federal Premium Ammunition/Bushnell/Savage, NRS Trailers and Remington.

“The new format for the show that RMEF rolled out last year was a big hit for exhibitors and RMEF partners like us,” said Colby Smith, ALPS OutdoorZ marketing manager. “With the way this show is growing we are able to reach out not only to our dedicated hunters and outdoorsmen, but also to the cowboys of the NFR.”

“The Las Vegas show was a big success for us. Having the Cowboy Christmas and NFR crowds there made it a sure thing. The people there are buyers! I will be back for sure,” said Rich Birdsell of Northern Rockies Outfitters.
