Hunting rifle and shotgun maker Blaser unveiled the new R8 Success Individual rifle, set to begin shipping in June 2017, according to the company.
The bolt-action rifle pairs two natural raw materials, wood with leather, pairing the solid R8 silhouette with the sleekness of leather. The two-piece stock, made from precious walnut wood, features an ergonomic Blaser thumbhole. The thumbhole design provides a relaxed posture for shooters’ wrist and arm in multiple firing positions, ensuring a consistently clean shot. The rifle’s brown leather inlays further comfort with a soft design for hands and cheek, while also elevating the long gun’s overall style.
Equipped with a rubber recoil pad and ebony forearm tip, the R8 Success Individual boasts a matte black receiver and gold-colored R8 logo for a boost of elegance. The rifle will be available in wood class 4 and 7 with calibers ranging from 222 Remington to 375 H&H. An optional fluted barrel will also be available.
The gorgeously designed rifle comes at a hefty price retailing for $6,969.
