I will soon put the finger that fell off in the poker tournament on eBay for sale
— Jose Canseco (@JoseCanseco) November 17, 2014
In the true American entrepreneurial spirit, former baseball player Jose Conseco is attempting to sell the severed finger he accidentally shot during a gun cleaning accident last month. Attempts to save the injured digit failed and the smelly finger simply fell off during a poker game last week.
Of course, it’s not known if Conseco will, in fact, be using eBay to sell the finger. While the website does prohibit the sale of human body parts and remains, including (but not limited to) blood, bones and body fluids, it doesn’t expressly prohibit the sale of a former pro ball player’s severed finger, which in essence could be considered a collector’s item.
Regardless, it would sure make an interesting ad.
The eBay ad will read slightly used middle finger with 462 home runs could be used as a stirring straw for drinks
