Bergara Rifles announced the expansion of the B14 rifle series, introducing the Hunting and Match as well as the Bergara Match Precision rifles Tuesday.
The HMR was designed and produced in Spain, boasting a machined aluminum mini-chassis built into a molded synthetic stock. Utilizing a Bergara barrel, the HMR offers super-smooth action, a two-lug system with a Sako-style extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech for smooth feeding. Topped off with a Bergara curved trigger, the HMR aims to bring craftsmanship and performance to hunters and competition shooters.
The BMP, also designed in Spain, touts a chassis machined from solid 7075 T6 aluminum, the BMP is ready to accept accessories with flush cup mounts and Magpul M-LOK. The 11-pound rifle offers a five-round magazine capacity and 5/8×24-inches threaded barrel.
Both rifles are available in 6.5 Creedmoor or .308 Win, with the HMR priced at $1,099 while the BMP comes in at $1,699. The new rifles will make their debut at the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meeting in Atlanta.
“What a great opportunity to be able to participate in an event like the annual NRA show, in our hometown. This will be the first public unveiling of our two latest rifles, the HMR and BMP here at our booth,” said Ben Fleming, of Bergara Rifles. “We are looking forward to meeting all our neighbors and give everyone attending this event a chance to win one of our most popular rifles.”
