ACCOKEEK, MD –-(Ammoland.com)- Beretta U.S.A. recently announced the addition of Kimberly Weikel to Team Beretta. Weikel lives with her family in DeLand, Florida.

Weikel, with encouragement from her father, began shooting when she was seven years old and has continued with the sport since then. Although she also enjoys hunting, her focus has been on Sporting Clays and in 2009 the Florida Chapter of NSCA voted to send her to the Nationals.

Weikel considered it an honor to represent her home state and found the tournament experience to be very exciting. She has her sites set on making the Florida State Team and eventually the U.S.A. Shooting Team. Weikel will be shooting an SV10 Prevail for Team Beretta.

According to Mike Vrooman, Shotgun Manager at Beretta USA, “Beretta has a history of encouraging and supporting youth shooters and we’re pleased to be able to include Kimberly as a Beretta Team Shooter. “She is a talented young women with a promising future in competitive shooting.”
