Accokeek, MD –-(Ammoland.com)- Team Beretta shooter Leo Harrison III found himself in need of a replacement shotgun just prior to one of his many events while competing at the 2012 Grand American.

He needed one because his trusty DT10 Trap was in the trunk of his car, a car headed to the veterinarian’s office to tend to a sick dog.

Leo needed a shotgun—and fast. After a quick stop at the Beretta building and a short consultation with Shoots and Events Manager Carlton Nether, Leo grabbed Beretta’s new DT11 Trap gun, made a few small adjustments to the rib and headed to the trap field.

Needless to say Leo’s faith in Beretta’s long history of making superior competition shotguns, known for both accuracy and reliability, paid off as he shot a 98/100 with absolutely no warm-up and an unfamiliar gun. That event, Event #5, played a pivotal role in Harrison’s Preliminary HOA RU and his Super 500 Championship. Though currently unfamiliar, that gun will soon become very familiar as Leo prepares for the 2013 trap season with his new Beretta, the DT11 Trap.

Beretta congratulates Harrison on his stellar showing at the 2012 Grand American where he claimed not only the Super 500 Championship (483/500), but the White Flyer HOA (983/1000) and EZ GO All-Around Championships (397/400) amongst a multitude of RU titles and Top Ten placements and an overall rock-solid 2012 season.
