Beretta’s A400 Xtreme Plus shotgun will now boast a pattern fit for hunting, with the introduction of Mossy Oak’s Bottomland onto the 12-gauge shotgun series. Though the Bottomland pattern from Mossy Oak is nothing new, first appearing three decades ago, its introduction onto the new A400 Xtreme Plus by Beretta will no doubt please shotgun fans.
The A400 Xtreme Plus was first introduced in May at the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meeting in Dallas. The shotgun boasts an all Steelium Plus barrel in addition to a 7×7 stepped rib for a wider sight picture. Beretta tweaked the design to reduce recoil, introducing Kick-Off technology aimed at minimizing movement. The shotgun is topped off with an oversized charging handle and bolt release in addition to a high-vis green magazine follower.

The addition of the Mossy Oak pattern aims to help waterfowlers better blend with their environment.
“The stunning colors and eye-catching variations in duck species are an amazing facet of nature and Mossy Oak is proud to reflect another aspect of that artistry with Bottomland,” Mossy Oak said in a press release. “This coming waterfowl season we look forward to Beretta’s A400 Xtreme Plus in Mossy Oak Bottomland gracing duck pits and layout blinds across the country.”
The A400 Xtreme Plus decked out in Mossy Oak Bottomland is available now with a price tag of $1,750.
