Benelli and Federal Sponsor Side Match at AR15.com 3-Gun Championships
ACCOKEEK, MD –-(Ammoland.com)- Benelli is pleased to announce that they will team with Federal Premium Ammunition to sponsor a side match at the AR15.com Rockcastle Pro/Am 3-Gun Championships.
This gives Benelli the opportunity to debut its latest Performance Shop model—considered to be the ultimate 3-Gun shotgun.
The side match will be a timed shooting event that offers participants the opportunity to try the new Benelli Performance Shop 3-Gun model on a variety of targets using Federal Premium ammunition.
Benelli and Federal will award cash prizes daily to the winners. And for those who cannot attend the match, Benelli USA, Federal Premium Ammunitionand NRA’s American Riflemanwill provide links to view a live feed of the action, beginning on Friday and continuing Saturday and Sunday. Benelli’s Facebook Fan Page and Twitter Page will also share links to the live video feed, post results and updates from the side match.
The AR15.com Rockcastle Pro/Am 3-Gun Championship will take place from August 26th through the 28th at Rockcastle Shooting Center, the nation’s premier shooting facility, located near Park City, Kentucky.
The sport’s top professional 3-Gunners will be challenged by an eight-stage course that will provide non-stop running and gunning action during two and a half days of competition. Amateur 3-Gunners will battle for their division titles shooting seven stages over a two-day period. More than 500 shooters are expected to participate in this inaugural 3-Gun event that promises to be an exciting and challenging competition for both participants and the viewing gallery.
