Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain capacities are expanded to help maintain strong growth.
Benchmade Knife Company is proud to announce five new positions, as well as an organizational change to its Marketing and Product teams.
Steve Turner Military & Government Sales: Steve Turner is the new Military & Government Sales Manager. In this role, Steve will work closely with Benchmade’s distribution partners to grow sales in global government and military markets. Steve brings to Benchmade over 15 years of sales management experience. Most recently, he served as Director of Government Sales for LaCrosse Footwear, Inc, where he managed over six years of growth in military and government sales.
Elaeh Raphael International Sales: Elaeh Raphael joins Benchmade as the new Business Development Manager and brings over 25 years of international sales management experience. In her new role, Elaeh will create and implement the strategy to expand Benchmade’s distribution and brand position in international markets.
Dave Stainsby Digital Sales Manager: Dave Stainsby, the new Digital Sales & Marketing Manager, is responsible for creating and implementing global websites for the Benchmade family of brands. Dave will also develop online tools that make Benchmade easier for our dealers and consumers to work with. Dave has Digital Marketing and E-Commerce experience with such brands as Oregon Scientific and Storables.
Derrick Lau PR and Communications: Derrick Lau has taken the role of PR and Communications Manager. Derrick comes to Benchmade with a background in radio communications and will be handling all communications to our media partners, charitable contributions, and general communications.

Supply Chain: Mark Crawford has joined the Benchmade team as the Director ofSupply Chain. In addition to his purchasing and planning responsibilities, Mark is also responsible for the shipping and receiving department. Mark has 20 years of experience in all areas of purchasing, planning, and logistics. He most recently managed the materials team at Coherent, and also worked with Celerity and AppliedMaterials.

Marketing & Product Structure: Benchmade has evolved its structure in order to focus more effectively on its growing product portfolio and global brand presence.
- Jason Boyd has been named the Senior Brand Manager, responsible for product strategy for Benchmade’s family of brands (Benchmade, Lone Wolf, and HK).
- Jon de Asis is now the Product Line Manager, working with Jason to develop the next generation of best-in-class products.
- Matt Elliott is now the Senior Marketing Manager and will manage the brand & communication strategy which will include: advertising, collateral, Tradeshows and events, and point-of-purchase displays.
